Alonzo Dozal

Alonzo Dozal (he/him/his) is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with minors in Spanish and Data Science. His academic interests center on political research, public policy, international affairs, and the growing role of data and technology in government and society.

Drawing on his interdisciplinary coursework in political science, statistics, programming, and Spanish, he is interested in using research and data-driven analysis to better understand political institutions, public opinion, and policy outcomes. He is particularly interested in legal studies, diplomacy, public service, and the ways emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—can shape governance, access to information, and public decision-making.

In the future, he hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of public policy, law, and international affairs, potentially through law school, government service, or diplomacy. Outside of his academic work, he enjoys weight training, following his fantasy team, and traveling.
